The Compromise Mandate: A Vision to Save America

Welcome To A Moment That Is Over 200 Years In The Making

The Compromise Mandate, as I’m coining it here, will alter the course of the world. 2024 election has brought America to an unprecedented crossroads. The nation is fractured along partisan lines. Trust in the electoral process has eroded. Millions feel unrepresented by the current system. Yet, this moment offers a rare opportunity for change. We can force a contingent election and create the first bipartisan White House in over two centuries.

This proposal, which I call The Compromise Mandate, is bold, disruptive, and grounded entirely in the Constitution. It is a plan that I, an individual who has not voted in this election or any other, am putting forth because I believe in this nation and its people. Unlike many who remain silent or complicit, I have chosen to actβ€”not for personal gain, but to give America a chance at survival, unity, and progress.

This vision for a Harris/Vance administration addresses the domestic corruption of uniparty politics and our adversaries abroad, who have never in their history faced a United States composed like this. Moreover, this is America’s chance to rewrite its political operating system. Together we can expose the dysfunction that has poisoned our government, and give both parties the opportunity to reconstitute themselves in alignment with their principles, not partisan theatrics.

Operation Odd Couple: The Partnership America Didn’t Expect but Desperately Needs

At first glance, the idea of Kamala Harris and J.D. Vance working together might seem like the plot of a political comedy. But this β€œodd couple” could be exactly what the nation needs. Harris, the first female president, represents progress and continuity for Democrats. Vance, a pragmatic Republican with a sharp mind and bipartisan appeal, would provide balance and reassurance to conservatives.

Their partnership wouldn’t just be a noveltyβ€”it would disrupt adversaries’ expectations, force both parties to reconsider their performative divides, and create a White House that prioritizes results over rhetoric.

The Purple Ticket: Blending Red and Blue for a Balanced America

America isn’t purely red or blueβ€”it’s purple, a mix of competing ideas, values, and priorities. Similarly, a Harris/Vance administration would reflect this reality. By combining Democratic leadership with Republican balance, this ticket would not only embody true bipartisan governance but also show that unity isn’t just a fantasyβ€”in fact, it’s a necessity.

This isn’t just a symbolic gesture; it’s a practical solution to a divided electorate. In a time when neither party seems capable of representing the entire country, a purple ticket offers the compromise we desperately need.

The Federalist Reformatting: Clearing America’s Political Hard Drive

The challenges we face in 2024 aren’t just about this electionβ€”they’re about the system itself. America’s political operating system has become corrupted, burdened by hyper-partisanship and performative politics. A reformatting is needed, not to erase the past, but to clear out the dysfunction and write a new code for the future. Things like “DOGE” have corrupted the very nature of civil rights, and government accountability.

A Harris/Vance administration could serve as the reset button, embodying balance, pragmatism, and a willingness to govern beyond party lines. This isn’t about returning to the founders’ vision but untethering ourselves from outdated frameworks while retaining what still works. It’s about building a government that represents the complexities of modern America.

The Unity Gambit Is A Risk Worth Taking

Forcing a contingent election is a bold and calculated gamble, but it’s one worth taking. This approach sacrifices the comfort of partisan politics for the chance to achieve a greater goal: a government that actually works. By creating a Harris/Vance coalition, we can reset the political landscape, forcing leaders to prioritize compromise over conflict.

How To Force A Contingent Election

Here’s the roadmap to implement The Compromise Mandate:

  1. Objection to Electoral Votes:
    • During the January 6 joint session of Congress, a Representative and a Senator submit a written objection to a state’s electoral votes, triggering a two-hour debate in both chambers.
  2. Building a Cascade:
    • Lawmakers use this time to argue for rejecting additional states’ electoral votes. If enough votes are rejected, neither Trump nor Harris achieves the majority needed to win (270 or recalculated based on valid votes).
    • If Trump loses (85) of his current (312) electoral votes, it will create a condition where neither Trump nor Harris would have received a majority of the remaining votes.
    • Building up the momentum for this breakdown is likely to cause a full-blown collapse of the standard procedure.
  3. Contingent Election:
    • The election moves to Congress:
      • The House of Representatives elects the president, with each state delegation casting one vote.
      • The Senate elects the vice president, with each senator casting an individual vote.

My New Vision for Patriotic Leadership

At its core, this proposal isn’t about politicsβ€”it’s about patriotism. Moreover, a Democratic-Republican White House would reflect the balance and fairness our nation’s founders envisioned, updated for modern times. In addition, true patriotism means putting the country’s stability above party loyalty, and this administration would do exactly that.

Breaking Free from the “Insurrection” Narrative & Enacting The Compromise Mandate Without Donald Trump Or Tim Walz

Unlike proposals from The Hill and others suggesting that Trump can be disqualified as an β€œinsurrectionist” under the 14th Amendment, this solution doesn’t depend on such claims. The electors have already cast their votes and they have been certified, so Congress stepping in to reject electoral votes is the only constitutional mechanism to alter the outcome.

Additionally, while January 6, 2021, is often cited as evidence of insurrection, it remains legally unresolved at the federal level, making it an unstable basis for rejecting Trump’s candidacy. Instead, this proposal focuses on the disillusionment of Trump’s base itself. His voters feel betrayed by his broken promises on immigration, jobs, and inflation, and they’re angry at his alignment with figures like Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, whose agendas they feel undermine the working class. This dissatisfaction alone is reason enough for Congress to act.

The fundamental problem with naming an insurrection after a day, is it contains the pretense that only (1) event took place. It is obvious to anybody looking at this objectively that there were multiple groups of people at the Capitol. Some of them had the same agenda. Others did not. However, things were intentionally instigated to escalate which eventually implicated even innocent people. Nobody who was in Congress at that time is credible as investigative oversight. Too many people in government & the press have used this moment for their own sake. That is why the public itself has been forsaken. That’s why guys like this need to be pushed out into the cold.

What Regular Americans Must Do, and Not Do To Enforce The Compromise Mandate

This plan doesn’t require people to storm Washington, D.C., or repeat the mistakes of January 6, 2021, which was orchestrated to discredit legitimate efforts to hold the government accountable. Instead:

  • Contact your lawmakers: Call, email, tweet, or visit their offices to demand action.
  • Spread the word: Share this proposal with others to build public support.
  • Stay peaceful and focused: This is about using the Constitution, not chaos, to protect democracy.

Enacting The Compromise Mandate

It starts with (1) state, a Senator & House Rep. They instigate a debate. Multiple states follow, threatening Donald Trump’s majority. If every state & DC agreed to essentially reject the electors’ votes, the House would decide the next President of the United States. The Senate would decide the next Vice President. Since Speaker Johnson is becoming a less popular figure in the House, the Congress would be unlikely to keep the plan of succession in place. The Compromise Mandate would likely then result in a Harris/Vance White House, the first female President, and the first bipartisan executive branch since 1796.

The Compromise Mandate isn’t just a solution to the 2024 electionβ€”it’s a bold vision for America’s future. By forcing a contingent election, unveiling the uniparty reality, and embracing a bipartisan administration, we can restore trust in our institutions and prepare for the challenges ahead. This is a moment for unity, balance, and courage.
